Is there an app that scans football pool pick sheets?
Yes, Picksheet's scanner reads paper pick sheets with your phone's camera, right in the browser, so there's nothing to install. It works with most printed pick sheets, including ones you've already collected.
How does scanning work?
You take one photo per sheet. Picksheet reads each one in the background while you keep shooting, then shows you every sheet to review.
Does it read handwriting?
It reads the handwritten name, the checked boxes and the tiebreaker. Every sheet appears on a review screen with the entry it matches, so you can check it before anything is saved.
What if I photograph the same sheet twice?
Picksheet spots an exact repeat and leaves it out. Anything else shows up on the review screen, where you can skip it.
Are my photos stored?
No, each photo is used to read the sheet and isn't kept. No picks are saved until you tap Save.
Which pools can I scan?
NFL Pick'em pools where players pick one team per game, straight up or against the spread. Confidence, key-pick and over/under pick'em and survivor pools can't be scanned yet.
Do I have to use your pick sheets?
No, the scanner works with most printed pick sheets, so you can keep your favorite printout and scan the sheets you've already collected. If yours doesn't read, let us know.
How many sheets can I scan?
You can scan a week's whole stack in one go, and come back later to scan the rest.
